Jo Fentress

Jo Fentress, Allied Member ASID, began her career in Dallas over 30 years ago, and continued it in the best design firms in Cincinnati. She proudly identifies herself as “director” of the creative design process, and takes seriously the taste, personality, and lifestyle of each client. Jo is dedicated to the classic styles and timeless designs that best reflect her clients, and feels strongly that even the most formal spaces should be comfortable and relaxing.

With the ultimate goal always being an aesthetically surprised and pleased client, Jo begins the creative process with a clear understanding of a space’s intended use. A focal point is established – artwork, furniture, a rug, some spectacular fabric – and this directs the color palette. From there, Jo taps into color that draws her and the inspiration she takes from rooms that appear collected, not decorated, the families who will enjoy her spaces, the texture and color of fabrics, personal spaces tailored to individuals, and the finishing touch that is accessories. The end result is a winning design often achieved by having followed an unexpected path.

Most important to Jo are her family (especially her four grandchildren), her friends, her faith, and her passion for God’s Word.
